Verifone, Inc.
VP UxD / IxD / ID
I led a global team of 15 to streamline the user and customer experiences to ensure the total digital and physical continuity and standards of quality across emergent and legacy products. This included developer experiences and the customer facing administrative control and reporting platforms. I played an additional pivotal role, providing vision and executional muscle for the Marketing and Sales channels for event comms and digital systems, sales tools, and later partnering for a brand redesign.
I was able to provide operational pragmatism to successfully bridge major existing gaps within cross-functional communications, operational relationships, role clarity, and collaborative efficacies.
I led the UXD pathways for the worlds’ first cryptocurrency payment methods to be offered on merchant terminals. This path led me to invent advanced methods for KYC/AML processes and user authentication methods with a total of 4 patents issued.

Zivelo, Inc.
CCO
(Acquired by Verifone, Inc. 2019) After Zivelo acquired Oak Labs, I spearheaded the process for the integration of Oak’s software platform with Zivelo’s cutting-edge hardware (kiosks). In this role, I led, mentored, and cultivated a small, but very skilled team of 8 UxD and ID members.
I provided the post merger clarity by authoring the technical integration ramifications and led the training sessions for the Engineering and Sales teams. Later I tailored a fresh brand identity and the refined aesthetic standards to establish the ‘new product ethos’.
Our portfolio of key clients included McDonald’s and Panda Express, alongside a loyal customer base inherited from Oak Labs.

UxD Leader, Marketplace Verticals
With a team of 6, I drove innovations yielding experiences to shape the product and developer road maps. My domain included the Sellers’ and Buyer’s experiences where I refined the Ux patterns, query visualization, and subsequent pivoting logic. This led to the basis for predictive logic & execution (e.g. optimal purchasing price & listing guidance), enhanced methods to browse, select, and buy (‘shop-able’ video: patent filed-issued), and more efficient and leaner ‘disambiguation’ and ‘finding’ tools still in use today.

Levi Strauss & Co.
Computer Systems Consultant
I was the Macintosh & CAD technology specialist where I initiated a new workstation, roll out, and training plan (Macintosh + Adobe suite of products). This increased designer output and capabilities, reduced process steps, and costly dependencies of a sparsely distributed hardware and software stack (6 Silicon Graphics 02 stations w/textile Dev. software vs. 51 designer - at desk accessibility) saving the company $750K+ annually in maintenance and license fees alone.
Internal Consultant for the Levi’s RED team (Retail Environment Design) creating workflow automations which eliminated production/asset overlap and third party execution dependencies for the production of sales, merchandising & customer communications collateral (Dynamic publishing before the term existed). I was also the development specialist and consultant for a ‘wearable computing’ design project (partners included Levi’s Europe/MIT/Philips UK).
